Education:

MCS/MSCS/BSCS+MIS or equivalent qualification

Direct Reporting: 

Chief Operating Officer

Experience:

Have overall 10+ years of post-qualification experience in Information Technology, preferably in customized software development.

Job Description:

•Analyze Information System requirements & performance and implement new and modified systems.

•Lead the procurement and implementation of Management Information System and Exchange Trading System.

•Ensure the development of IT Infrastructure including LAN, WAN, Workstations & Servers for Head Office/branches and provide technical support to database management.

•Ensure the selection and implementation of peripheral systems like Asset Management, Inventory, Payroll, Attendance and General Ledger.

•Document systems and business processes and ensure the accuracy of technical documentation. Communicate with software, hardware and service vendors.

•Lead the development of a sustainable technology framework and develop internal systems to improve the security, effectiveness and efficiency of the PMEX’s technology infrastructure, by reviewing current applications, and recommending modifications.

•Develop and implement short-term and long-term strategic IT plans. Manage budget and resource plans for all projects. Ensure that all IT resources are effectively integrated throughout the organization.

•Responsible for supporting and managing the staffing function (human capital) of the department with key role in the recruitment and selection, performance management and staff development.

•Undertake relationship management with key counterparts and stakeholders both within and outside the company.

•Responsible in the preparation of departmental budget in order to ensure planning and control for financial activity.

•Performing and assuming other duties and responsibilities as may be required by the Management.

•Responsible to ensure the availability of Technology Services on a 24×7 basis on both Business and trading platforms. This includes Core Business Applications, – – Cloud & Servers Infrastructure, Network Infrastructure, Information Security & Risk Management, Business Continuity Management, Helpdesk Function etc.

•Effectively manage risk and adopt enterprise-wide solutions for risk management and corporate governance control.

•Any other task assigned by the COO & Managing Director.

Skills:

•Technically proficient with all current and potential concepts of the IT industry.

•Exposure to business theory, business processes, management, budgeting, and business office operations.

•Must have experience in managing customized software Development and IT services management.

•Excellent understanding of project management principles.

•Proven experience in planning, organization, and development.

•Must have experience in vendors’ and partners’ management, and resources/services management through the transparent procurement process.

•Should have the ability to quickly understand the business strategy, plans, and processes.

•Demonstrated ability to apply technology solutions to business problems.

•Proven leadership skills.

•Good interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
